I provide practical disability support services focused on learning, behaviour, life skills and community participation. With my background in special education, each session is shaped around the participant’s goals, strengths and the skills they need in everyday life.
I offer disability support across Albury, Wodonga and surrounds, with a focus on learning, behaviour, life skills and community participation.
Every session is planned with purpose, so participants can practise real skills in everyday situations.
Literacy and numeracy mentoring to build confidence with everyday learning.
Practical support with behaviour, routines and positive choices.
Helping participants build independence with practical everyday tasks.
Purposeful outings and social activities that help participants practise skills in real-life settings.
I provide literacy and numeracy mentoring in a way that feels calm, practical and tailored to your child. As a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher, I understand that learning can feel frustrating when the usual approach does not work. My role is to find out how your child learns best, then use strategies that help them build confidence with reading, writing, numbers and everyday learning tasks.
This is not about pressure or pushing your child through work that feels too hard. It is about creating purposeful sessions where they can practise, make progress and feel proud of what they are learning.
Behaviour is often a form of communication. I take the time to understand what may be sitting underneath challenging moments, including frustration, overwhelm, sensory needs, communication difficulties or changes in routine. From there, I support your child with practical strategies that help them feel safer, calmer and more understood.
My approach is patient, respectful and grounded in experience. I work with your child’s strengths, not just the behaviour being seen on the surface, so we can build more positive routines, choices and coping strategies over time.
Life skills are the practical things that help children and young people feel more capable in their day-to-day world. This may include routines, personal organisation, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, emotional regulation or learning how to manage everyday tasks with more confidence.
I break skills down into achievable steps and guide your child through them in a way that feels clear and encouraging. The goal is to help them build useful abilities they can carry into home, school, the community and future stages of life.
NDIS Core Supports are the foundation of most NDIS plans, providing funding for the essential, day-to-day assistance you need to live independently and engage in your community. This budget is highly flexible, allowing you to reallocate funds between categories as your needs change.
The Core Supports budget is generally divided into four main categories:
NDIS Capacity Building Supports are a funding category designed to help participants develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to achieve long-term personal goals. Unlike core supports that assist with daily tasks, these funds focus on growth, learning, and self-reliance.
The funding is divided into nine key categories tailored to individual plans:
I will sit down with you to talk about the help you need.
I will create a “Service Agreement.” This is a simple document that explains what I will do for you and when.
I will match you with support staff who are a good fit for your personality and goals.
SPC Support (Support Persistence Confidence) is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred NDIS services that empower participants to achieve their individual goals with dignity and independence. Our Quality Management System (QMS) is built on the pillars of transparency, continuous improvement, and the rigorous protection of participant rights.
We pledge to maintain a service environment that is safe, inclusive, and responsive to the unique needs of the Albury-Wodonga community and beyond. Through persistent support and complex care coordination, we ensure that every participant is treated with respect, their feedback is valued as a tool for growth, and our practices consistently exceed the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
Social & Community Participation
Purposeful outings with real learning
Community participation is most valuable when it has a purpose behind it. I support children and young people to get out into the community while practising the skills they need in real-life situations, such as communication, social interaction, following routines, making choices, managing emotions and building confidence in different environments.
These outings are not just about going somewhere for the sake of it. Each session is planned around your child’s goals, interests and current abilities, helping them build social and practical skills in settings that matter to everyday life.
